✓Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
Retinol stimulates the collagen production in the skin. This helps improve skin texture, firmness, and reduce th depth of fine lines and wrinkles.
✓Fades dark (pigment) spots
Retinol promotes cell turnover, which means it helps to shed dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new ones. This exfoliating effect can gradually fade pigmented spots by removing the top layer of skin where the excess melanin (the pigment responsible for skin color) is located.
✓Evens out the skin tone
Due to the exfoliating property of Retinol, the dull outer layer of the skin is removed leaving you with fresh, glowing skin! In addition, the Retinol Serum moisturizes the skin, further adding to your Glow the next morning!
✓Moisturizes the skin
Unlike traditional Retinol products that can cause dryness, this serum is specially formulated with Niacinamide and Vitamin E. These ingredients help to moisturize the skin, making it ideal for even the most sensitive skin types. Well-hydrated skin appears more supple and minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles."

What exactly is retinol and why should I use it in my skincare routine?
Retinol is like the superhero of skincare ingredients. It's a derivative of vitamin A that helps improve the overall texture and appearance of your skin. It can reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and even fade those pesky dark spots. If you want smoother, younger-looking skin, retinol is your new bestie.
How do I incorporate retinol serum into my skincare routine?
Ease into it! Start by using it once or twice a week and gradually increase the frequency as your skin gets used to it. Apply a pea-sized amount to clean, dry skin at night, and follow up with a moisturizer. And don't forget your SPF during the day because retinol makes your skin more sensitive to the sun.
Is it normal to experience some side effects when using retinol?
Absolutely! Retinol can be a bit of a diva sometimes. We have done our best to formulate our Retinol as gently and hydrating as possible, to prevent side effects. However, every skin can react differently, and experiencing side effects is possible! In the beginning, you might experience some dryness, redness, or even a little peeling. But don't worry, it's all part of the process. Just make sure to moisturize like there's no tomorrow and give your skin some time to adjust. If things get really intense, though, consult a dermatologist. Read more about Retinol and precautions here.
Can I use retinol serum if I have sensitive skin?
If you have sensitive skin, listen closely! Retinol can be a bit harsh, so if your skin tends to throw tantrums at every little thing, you might want to tread lightly. We have formulated our Retinol Serum to be hydrating, it contains Niacinamide which has anti-inflammatory properties to combat the side effects of retinol. However, every skin is different and it is better to be safe than sorry! Start with a low frequency and use just a bit to see how your skin reacts. And always, always patch test first.
Why is it crucial to use SPF when using retinol?
SPF is like the ultimate bodyguard for your skin, especially when you're using retinol. Here's the deal: retinol can make your skin more sensitive to the sun's harmful UV rays. Without SPF, those rays can wreak havoc on your skin, causing damage, sunburns, and even increasing the risk of skin cancer.
So, by applying SPF during the day, you're creating a shield of protection. It blocks those sneaky UV rays from penetrating your skin and causing trouble. Think of it as your secret weapon to keep your skin looking youthful, radiant, and safe from the sun's harmful effects.
Can I mix retinol with other skincare ingredients?
Mixing and matching is fun, but not always a good idea. Retinol doesn't play well with certain ingredients, like benzoyl peroxide or alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) serums. Stick to a simple routine and gradually introduce other actives if you must.
It is not advised to use Vitamin C and Retinol in the same routine either! So if you have both the Vitamin C serum and the Retinol Serum, we advise to use the Retinol Serum in the Evening and the Vitamin C Serum in the morning. And remember, less is more when it comes to retinol!
Can I use retinol serum if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
Hey mama-to-be! While retinol is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, it's best to consult with your healthcare provider to be on the safe side. They'll have the best advice on what's safe and what's not for you and your little one. Better safe than sorry, right?
Can I use retinol serum during the day instead of at night?
Retinol is a creature of the night. It works its magic while you sleep. The sun can make it less effective, and it can also make your skin more sensitive to harmful rays. So stick to applying your retinol serum at night for maximum benefits. Sweet dreams and glowing skin, here we come!
Can I use retinol serum on my neck and chest?
Absolutely! Your face shouldn't get all the attention. Your neck and chest deserve some love too! These areas can show signs of aging just like your face. Apply a small amount of retinol serum to your neck and chest, following the same routine you use for your face. Smooth skin from head to toe? Yes, please!"
I am extremely happy with this serum. I am surprised by the difference after 3 months!
I have and get less pimples. My dark spots also look lighter after using the Retinol Serum!
How to use
Ready for bed? Then it’s time for Retinol! Start by cleansing your face with our Triple AHA cleanser, or choose the Foam make-up remover if you have extra-sensitive skin. Thoroughly dry your face. Apply a few drops of the serum and gently massage it into the face, avoiding the eyelids. Allow your skin to fully absorb the serum, and follow up with our Hydrating Moisturizer. Begin with 1 to 3 applications per week, gradually increasing to nightly use once your skin adjusts and responds positively.
